Abstract
The study examined strategies for effective school management in enhancing 21st-century teaching and learning in junior secondary schools in Abuja. A descriptive survey design was adopted, with a sample of 60 schools, involving 180 principals and 1,200 students selected through stratified and simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation. Findings revealed a significant relationship between effective school management strategies and teaching and learning. The study recommended regular training for school administrators, mentorship programs for inexperienced leaders, and increased investment in IT infrastructure to support modern educational practices.
